Privacy Notice: Omicron Hospitality and Leisure grant
Who we are: Great Yarmouth Borough Council (the Council), Town Hall, Hall Plain, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR30 2QF, 01493 856100, is the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
How we use your information: We will use your personal information for the purposes of providing Coronavirus support for Businesses. We may also use your information for the purposes of the detection and prevention of fraud. The lawful processing ground for this information is defined under 6(1)(e) of the GDPR.
Data Sharing: The data you provide will be shared within Great Yarmouth Borough Council, The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government and The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS), The Cabinet Office and any other local authority. The GOV.UK website provides details of the BEIS privacy notice which sets out how BEIS will handle personal data across all COVID-19 grant schemes, and the Cabinet Office privacy notice which sets out how their counter fraud checks will handle personal data across government grant schemes.
Retention: Your information will be kept strictly confidential and will be stored securely by the Council. We will hold your information for a period of 10 years from the later of the date of the application or award of the grant, after this time it will be securely deleted.
