Ship sanitation inspections
It is important that we protect public health and minimise the risks from commercial shipping. We are authorised to carry out checks on ships and issue Ship Sanitation and Ship Sanitation Exemption Certificates.

Tidal Defences Business Partnership
The Tidal Defences Business Partnership is a new business group working with the public sector to raise awareness and support for a crucial multi-million-pound tidal defences scheme in Great Yarmouth. Launched in February 2015, the partnership represents the business community, helping partners including potential funders and other businesses to understand the significance of effective tidal defences to the regional and local economy.
Great Yarmouth Skills and Employability Strategy 2024-2029
Residents and employers are at the heart of the Council's ambitions to foster a vibrant and inclusive coastal economy where residents of all ages and backgrounds can flourish here and reach their full potential. The Great Yarmouth Skills and Employability Strategy sets out the challenges and opportunities and provides a collaborative blueprint for the Council, the Great Yarmouth Skills Taskforce, partners, educators, trainers, residents and employers to design projects and activities that achieve their aims.
