Advertising boards and display of goods on the highway in Great Yarmouth
Is there a process to be followed for the removal of A-boards?
Council officers will use their judgment to determine what is dangerous or unreasonable, taking social distancing measures into account.
Owners of A-boards, advertising displays and other advertising figures which cause an issue will be given 48 hours to remove the items (unless the item causes an immediate danger which requires intervention sooner). If the owner does not comply with a request to remove an obstruction, the Council will remove the item and a charge of £25 will be made.
