An application by Ormesby St Margaret with Scratby Parish Council to have the whole parish of Ormesby St Margaret with Scratby designated as a neighbourhood plan area was received on 28 January 2020. The application was considered by Great Yarmouth Borough Council and the Ormesby St Margaret with Scratby Neighbourhood Plan Area was formally designated on 28 January 2020.
