Winter Gardens Events

The Winter Gardens will be taking part in National Lottery Open Week with a special Hard Hat Tour of the Winter Gardens for National Lottery players on Saturday 15 March 2025.

These tours are now Fully Booked.

We are working with Great Yarmouth Heritage Guides to provide additional chances for you to see inside the Winter Gardens before construction begins.

You can book your place on a Great Yarmouth Heritage Guide Tour here (opens new window)

If you have already booked your place further event information is below.

What should I do when I arrive?

Please arrive 10 minutes before your tour start time and wait at the front of the Winter Gardens on South Beach Parade.

PPE (hard hat, high visibility vest and glasses) will be issued before you enter the building and must be worn throughout the tour.  We recommend you wear sturdy shoes given debris around the site.

Is there an age limit?

Tours are open to people aged 14 and above.

Is the site accessible?

The Winter Gardens is currently a building site, and so unfortunately is not accessible for wheelchair users.

If you have additional access needs please contact pmo@great-yarmouth.gov.uk to discuss your visit.

Where can I park?

The nearest car parks are St Nicholas Car Park, South Beach Parade NR30 3JP and Jetty Car Park, 13 Marine Parade NR30 3AN. There is also a small amount of free parking on the seafront.
