Cultural Connections accessibility grants

The Cultural Connections volunteering project has a small fund to help residents overcome barriers they face to volunteering. Residents can use accessibility grants for anything which helps them volunteer in a role which excites them, such as travel, translation or software. Voluntary, community or social enterprise organisations can also apply to support a potential volunteer.

Cultural Connection activation grants

Cultural Connections also offers activation grants of up to £500. Activation grants help small groups of volunteers and voluntary, community or social enterprise organisations to:

• put on their own hyper local events
• inspire attendees to commit to further community action and volunteering
• celebrate local culture
• support volunteers to sign up to Cultural Connections volunteering opportunities within local community groups
