Household Support Fund

If support from the Norfolk Client Hardship Service is not appropriate in your case, our professional partners can submit an application to us for residents they are working with. Once a referral is received Caseworkers from the Great Yarmouth Community Hub can support residents who are struggling to pay for their everyday essentials using limited access to the Department of Work and Pensions Household Support Fund. This includes support for single households, families with or without children, older people, carers and people living with a disability. We work closely with the Client Hardship Service to ensure the right options and services are used to support you.

To receive contact from a Community Hub Case Worker, you can ask your existing support workers to make a referral. If you are not currently working with other services, you can call 0808 196 2238 or email earlyhelphub@great-yarmouth.gov.uk.
