Waste collection policy

The Council does not offer a separate collection for low grade offensive / hygiene waste, i.e. non-infectious waste such as incontinence pads, nappies, feminine hygiene products or similar. This waste should be double wrapped and placed in the residual waste container.

Where a large quantity is being produced then the household may be eligible for additional residual capacity. This will need to be applied for via the additional bin application process. Where a resident requires additional capacity for such waste additional capacity will be provided at the normal charge for an additional bin.
