Great Yarmouth Festival of Bowls

The Visit Great Yarmouth Festival of Bowls returns to Great Yarmouth seafront from Sunday 25 August to Saturday 21 September. 

Believed to be the biggest outdoor open bowling event in the country, with more than 800 participants competing in men's, ladies and mixed teams for singles, pairs, triples and fours titles. Bowling takes place over four weeks at the Britannia Bowling Greens on Great Yarmouth seafront. 

Spectators are welcome to watch (for free) throughout the festival as there is plenty of seating available around the greens.

The following tournaments will be taking place:

• Ladies Singles from Sunday 25 - Tuesday 27 August 
• Men's Fours from Sunday 25 - Tuesday 27 August 
• Men's Pairs from Wednesday 28 - Friday 30 August
• Men's Triples from Sunday 1 - Tuesday 3 September
   
• Ladies Pairs from Sunday 1 - Tuesday 3 September
• Men's Singles from Wednesday 4 - Friday 6 September
• Ladies Triples from Thursday 5 - Friday 6 September
   
• Under 21's Open Singles on Saturday 7 September
   
• Mixed Pairs from Sunday 8 - Tuesday 10 September
• Mixed Triples on Wednesday 11 and Friday 13 September
   
• ​​Over 60's Open Singles from Saturday 14 - Tuesday 17 September
• Over 60's Open Pairs from Wednesday 18 - Saturday 21 September
