People are invited to foxtrot around Great Yarmouth Town Hall at upcoming Afternoon Tea Dance events
Great Yarmouth Town Hall is thrilled to announce its upcoming series of Afternoon Tea Dances, set to bring joy, elegance and delightful dancing to the heart of the community. This initiative aims to provide a wonderful social experience for residents and visitors alike.
The Afternoon Tea Dances will take place from 2pm until 4pm in the iconic Great Yarmouth Town Hall Assembly Room where its spacious dance floor will provide the perfect stage for the events. The confirmed dates are:
- Wednesday, May 17
- Wednesday, June 14
- Wednesday, July 19
- Wednesday, August 16
- Wednesday, September 13
- Wednesday, October 18
- Wednesday, November 15
Participants can look forward to an afternoon filled with timeless melodies, enchanting rhythms and a chance to dance a variety of styles, including the waltz, foxtrot, tango and many more. Whether you are an experienced dancer or new to the dance floor, these tea dances will offer a welcoming environment for all.
A spokesperson for Great Yarmouth Borough Council said: "We are delighted to continue to hold these traditional tea dances at Great Yarmouth Town Hall, offering people a chance to enjoy the art of dance and make new friends.
"We encourage everyone, whether young or old, to join us for these enjoyable afternoons of music, dance and socialising."
