Revised dates for independent examination of planning document announced
The independent Planning Inspector appointed to examine Great Yarmouth's Local Plan Part 2 has announced the revised dates for the examination hearings, after the original dates were postponed as a result of coronavirus.
In July 2020, Great Yarmouth Borough Council submitted the final draft of this key planning document to Government, in order to undergo the standard independent checks for soundness and legal compliance by an appointed Planning Inspector.
The examination hearings will take place virtually on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the weeks commencing March 1, March 15 and April 26. Each day will hold three 90-minute hearing sessions per day.
