People invited to Mayor's Quiz and Chips evening at Great Yarmouth Town Hall
The Mayor of Great Yarmouth is hosting a charity fundraising Quiz and Chips evening at the Town Hall and has invited members of the public to attend.

The fun event takes place in the Assembly Room on Friday, 14th March, and arrival is from 6.30pm for a 7pm start with tickets costing £15 per person. The ticket price includes quiz entry and a choice of battered cod and chips, gourmet beef burger and chips, Lincolnshire sausages and chips or a vegan burger and chips.
There will be a fully licensed bar available and a prize for the winning team. Money raised at the evening will go towards the Mayor's chosen charities for the year - Age Connected, Great Yarmouth Stroke Group and the Shrublands Football Club.
Councillor Paula Waters-Bunn, Mayor of the Borough of Great Yarmouth, said: ''Our Quiz and Chips evening promises to be great fun and I do hope as many people as possible are able to attend.
''It will also be an excellent opportunity to raise vital funds for charity. My chosen charities all do exceptional work locally and are special to me. The care and support the Great Yarmouth Stroke Group and Age Connected provide for people is extremely valuable and, as a grassroots sports club, Shrublands Football Club is a beacon in the local community that I am proud to be able to support.''
Tickets, which must be booked by Friday, 7th March, are available by emailing mayor@great-yarmouth.gov.uk
