Great Yarmouth Local Plan (Regulation 19 Pre-submission version)

The Great Yarmouth Local Plan Regulation 19 Pre-submission consultation opened on 6 December 2024 and closes at 23:59 on 31 January 2025. The new Local Plan will eventually replace the Core Strategy and the Local Plan Part 2. The new Local Plan is presented as a single document, rather than being separate Local Plans covering strategy, allocation and detailed policies. The plan includes a strategy for development, including identifying needs for housing and economic development over the period to 2041. The plan also identifies land for development and other site-specific policies, as well as detailed policies to help determine planning applications. 

You are invited to make representations (comments) on the document between 6 December 2024 and 31 January 2025. Representations can be submitted using the online Local Plan Pre-Submission Representation Form (opens new window) or by emailing localplan@great-yarmouth.gov.uk. Your email must include the information contained within the representation form to be accepted.
