Public sector apprenticeship target information

Because Great Yarmouth Borough Council is a public body and we employ more than 250 people, we were set a target by Government to employ an average of at least 2.3% of our staff as new apprentices. The target originally ran from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2021.

A further one year target of 2.3% was set for the period 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022. The performance for this period is being measured based only on starts in 2021-2022.

We are required to annually submit our progress towards this target.
